"In my 20+ years in the healthcare industry working as a volunteer, nurse and administrative staff with various organization such as GBMC, Medstar, Erickson Oakcrest and several others,  I've learned how important it is to show tenderness, compassion., patiences, care, empathy and encouragement.  As it is said "People may not remember what did for them but they will always remember how you made them feel"  This is one of my favorite quotes.  It speaks to who we are and what A Heart for Seniors is all about.

I was born and raised in Baltimore.

I attended College here in Maryland.

I am a wife, mother, caregiver, nurse, business owner and friend.

I started A Heart for Seniors in 2/2018 thinking of the loving relationship I had for & with my grandparents Drew & Sallie Oglesby.  When I was a child visiting them in Georgia I experienced some of the best times of my childhood.  Life was much slower back then. I always loved the long walks & talks with my grandfather on their farm. I loved sitting at my grandmother feet while she would tell me stories of her growing up and marrying my grandfather. I also loved her good food and helping her prepare it.

There was so much love in those times. Recalling those times and love shared I started the agency A Heart for Seniors

My grandparents & parents are at the foundation of who we are. Our purpose is to assist seniors. 💜
